On Saturday I dragged the fam to LaGrange for some Midnyt Burgers and an art show.

Aren't we cute!?

Okay, so I think the kid was more excited about the smash burgers than the art, oh AND the snacks at the reception, but he did all right.

And my darling husband did the driving and even a little picture taking so I didn't really have to drag them.

LaGrange has a cute little downtown area and I think we all enjoyed the trip in our own way.

Bird mural at the Art Museum, where the other half of the show is on display, was also a hit.

You can read a little more about the show here, and I'm hoping for a walkthrough video or photo gallery soon but it did just open, so I'm trying to be patient!

Ms. Lanora there is the Gallery Manager and Curator at the Art Center and she was so incredibly kind and gracious both by email and in person! It's such a delight to meet wonderful new people.

I wish I had grabbed snapshots of the other artists I'm sharing space with, but I didn't think to do it while we were there.

I mean, I'm really curious about this big pink bubblegum mech!

But I can't read the info card in any of my pictures, of course.

So I have to wait. Impatiently.

Although I DO have something to keep me busy!

It's always exciting to try new yarns! It's got some great but subtle texture and I think it's going to be perfect for the crochet design we've settled on.

I can't wait to share more with you!

In the meantime I'm going to go stalk the LaGrange Art Museum and Art Center social sites again just one more time today... because if somebody doesn't share a video soon, I'm just going to have to go back again!!
